Unlike it's more common relatives, the Rooked Rectangulus is the rarest of the Rectangulus genus. It uses it's Rook image to blend into it's natural habitat: Checker Boards. It feeds on the other bugs commonly found in Checker Boards, mainly Pawns and Bishops. It seems to be very submissive to humans, even in some cases allowing the human to move it horizontally or vertically, but never diagonally.
