Detriton
It's the year 20000 long since the human race has vacated its lunar biodome for a more desirable celestial body to destroy (but that's another story). Detriton scavenges the depths of a lunar ocean. These "bugs' were genetically modified from an ancient creature known by some as a lobster, found on the home planet of the humans. Detriton oozes a corrosive substance from its mandibles to increase the rate of decomposition of detritus found on the bottom of the lunar ocean. An unexpected result of the modification was that Detriton is an extremely affectionate creature doomed to loneliness because of its noxious secretions.
